Leahy is a musical powerhouse of eight brothers and sisters who have been playing together their entire lives.  
This exciting Canadian brother and sister group sizzles as they sing, fiddle, and step dance in their first concert DVD.  The eight band members, all from the Leahy family of eleven siblings, are from Ontario and have been touring internationally since the early 1980s when they were known as The Leahy Family.  In 1997 the band resumed recording with a relaunch album - "Leahy" - which also introduced the group's new branding.

The group's members are both instrumentalists and dancers, with most (maybe all?) skilled fiddlers, particularly the best-known member, Donnell Leahy.  Donnell's wife, the gorgeous Natalie MacMaster, joins the group for two songs.  The female members of the band are great musicians, step-dancers, and handle most of the singing.  Donnell is a truly amazing fiddler, and his brothers are solid back-up fiddlers.  Erin has a beautiful voice.  The sisters are all lovely.

This April 2006 concert was recorded live in Gatineau, Quebec.  It's an amazing performance by these eight talented brothers and sisters.
